Pair it with

Why It’s Great

Corners Are Where Sauces Go to Die

Curved interior walls make stirring easier so sauces stay moving and nothing gets scorched in the corners you can't reach.

Wide Mouth = Faster Reduction

More surface area means more evaporation, which means your sauce reduces faster. Bet your geometry teacher didn’t tell you that.

Handle Stays Cool Despite the Heat

An ergonomic, stay-cool handle means you're not reaching for a towel or an oven mitt every time you need to move the pan.

Why 5-Ply?

5-ply means a pan that performs (and looks good).

Three layers of steel and two of aluminum, bonded at 3.0mm thickness for even heat. No hot spots, no warping.

Easy-Peasy Clean-sy

Throw it in the dishwasher and watch a movie.

We tested it. And tested it again. And again. Our Stainless Steel won’t warp and is virtually indestructible, so you can chill on the cleaning routine.

Questions?

Are stainless steel pans difficult to care for?

Not at all! Throw them in the dishwasher, let them soak overnight, sear on high-heat — our stainless steel cookware can take anything and truly lasts a lifetime.

Will my pans be nonstick?

Stainless Steel is not nonstick, however, there are ways to make the surface temporarily nonstick before each cooking session.
To do this, heat the pan over medium heat for 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and swirl it around the pan. When you see smoke turn off the heat. Let the pan cool down and wipe out any excess oil. Your pan is now temporarily seasoned and should remain nonstick until you wash it with soap!

Is the cookware induction compatible?

Definitely!

How do I clean stains and discoloration off of the pans?

Use Bar Keeper's Friend, (baking soda will also work!), water, and a lightly abrasive sponge.

Doesn’t every company on earth claim their stuff is better?

Yep! That’s why we tend to let our reviews do the talking. At Misen, our goal is to make great products and sell them for fair and honest prices. That’s what value means to us.

    Love this little pan

I’m quite impressed with this saucier. I have a set of All-Clad cookware, which I absolutely love, and I’ve also purchased several pieces from Made In because I was impressed with their business model and the fact that their pans are American-made. However, I have to say that I haven’t been as impressed with the Made In pieces I’ve purchased.

I had missed a sale on an All-Clad saucier that was similar to this one—and it didn’t even come with a lid—so when I saw this one pop up, I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did!

I’ve used it numerous times now, and I find it to be just as impressive as my All-Clad pieces. It has a nice heft, the stainless steel feels very high quality, and it performs beautifully. I’m really pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

    Great cookware

This pan is awesome. I purchased an ALLCLAD pan and it was very expensive and right from the first use it’s totally discolored(lesson learned )…This pan however has been used so many times for so many different things and it cleans up beautifully to looking like new. I’m going to be replacing my pans with more Misen pans.

    Handle stays cool

I had another, cheaper sauce pan that was the same size but the handle was made of sheet metal. It would always get too hot and I would have to use a towel to grab the handle. This pan completely solves that problem. I never feel like the handle is too hot.

    Great pot!

I splurged and got all 4, each one is awesome.

3 QT Stainless Steel Saucier

The 3 QT Stainless Steel Saucier is built for the kind of stovetop work where control matters: steady stirring, clean pouring, and consistent heat. Compared with a straight-sided saucepan, its rounded sides help you reach every spot with a whisk or spoon, and the curved lip makes it easier to pour without drips.

What makes this pan feel “better than a saucepan” in daily cooking is the combination of rounded sides and a wide mouth. Rounded corners mean less food stuck in edges, and it is easier to keep thick mixtures moving as they heat. The wider opening is designed for faster evaporation, which helps when you want better sauce control as you simmer and reduce. When you are ready to serve, the curved lip supports cleaner, more controlled pouring.

Heat performance is where the construction details matter. This saucier uses 5-ply stainless steel construction for excellent heat retention, and the 3.0mm thickness is designed to promote even heating with fewer hot spots. It is also induction compatible and oven safe up to 800°F, so it can move from stovetop work to high-heat finishing without switching cookware. If you are building out a cohesive lineup, you can see other pieces in Misen’s stainless steel cookware range.

Choosing between sizes mostly comes down to how much you cook at once. The brand notes there are four sizes for everything from butter to big batches, and the 3 QT capacity is the pick when you want extra room for stirring and faster evaporation without crowding the pan. If you regularly make smaller portions, the 2 QT option can be a simpler fit. For more pan shapes in the same category, browse the pots and sauciers collection.

Cleanup and long-term care are straightforward. The pan is dishwasher safe, and the product guidance also recommends preheating an empty stainless steel pan on medium-high for 3 to 4 minutes, then cooking with oil or butter for best results. For stubborn stains, the page suggests applying Bar Keeper’s Friend or baking soda and rubbing with a soft sponge or cloth. For more detailed guidance, follow Misen’s stainless steel pan care tips.
